Reinforcing Bar

Large Leaded glass panels require additional support to prevent "sagging and bagging". This is especially true if incorporating a large amount of beveled glass into your piece since the bevels are thicker and heavier than standard glass. Always try to design your pieces with this in mind, although older panels ignored trying to hide the reinforcing bars, a little foresight in design will allow you to make them almost invisible when complete.
