Technical Information
Frit is one of the most versatile accessories for fused glass. You can sprinkle it on, cast it, mix it with a binder and paint with it, the options are endless.
Photo above is an image of the glass, actual color may differ slightly.
Y-96 Fusible Glass is 96 COE compatible and has a great palette of robust˜ new opal and cathedral colors.˜ All of our testing has been done on currently available clear COE 96 glasses and our own white opal and clear. We have used standard COE 96 fusing schedules that are available online. Our Y96 Glass is tested using a dilatometer and fusing tests are examined with a polariscope to ensure our product meets the set standard.
